Liz's Birthday

Hello Wasabi!

My birthday is on Friday, May 20th and I wanted to invite you all to Rocksan's that night at 7:30pm. I figure we can all hang out, eat pizza, and have some fun together. If you can't come, that's fine, but I hope to see you all there!

Love,
Liz

PS Pass the word to those who don't log on very often!

Hungry?

Hey guys,

So, wasabi was about fasting this week...and in response, we're asking people to
fast as God leads you at some point during the next two weeks. Some people are giving up TV for a week, others fasting two meals a day for a few days, giving up time with friends for prayer time, etc. You get the gist...

so, pray about it and remember what you learn through that time...we'll talk about it next wasabi.

pax,
Emily

help for a friend

Hello everyone! You probably remember my friend, Renia. She lives in Colorado and came in for the Great Banquet last spring. Most of you were there the night I asked for prayer for her just a month or so ago. She continues to struggle greatly and I covet your prayers for her. She is in counseling right now and is going through Theophostic Prayer with her counselor. I count it as a good thing that she's totally losing control (since that's what is supposed to happen when Jesus takes the wheel), but she is completely freaked out and scared to death. She is a "doubting Thomas", a pharisee, and the woman healed of a twelve year hemorrage all rolled into one very confused and hurting woman. So if you would, please cover her in your prayers. Please pray with me for her total healing, for her peace, and for clear guidance in her life.
Thanks, guys. If you could also remind the Lord that I still have mono and would love to be healed, that would be peachy, too. :-)
Love you guys!

Winter be banished!

Hey guys,
Just wanted to say I love you all, haven't spent as much time with everyone as I wish we could. I miss you guys, and hope that with the advent of spring/summer 05' that we'll get to hang out more. Darn this blasted winter and all of her tricks, I say we kill her, send her to a place between dimentions where escape is impossible. Where night and day are scattered and there is no sky nor ground. Forever freezing in the abis no longer able to chill the earth or our fun.
Yo ho ho and a bottle of whatever,
Knox

phound phone

I found a Kyocera cell phone in our couch the other day, i'm sure it's from the "super bowl" gathering on Sunday. If its yours or you know who it belongs to, let me know and i'll get it to its rightful owner!

Sunday Wasabi

Could someone please post a summary of what was talked about and gone over this past Sunday in regards to the mission trip. I had to work so I missed not by choice and would like to know a sort of run down of where we stand and what everyone's thoughts and prayers etc. are about it thus far in the game. I'm not sure yet whether either Brad or I will go, but I have been praying about it..... whether or not we are to go that is. So, please, someone clue me in on what's going on--I'd greatly appreciate it! I hope that everyone's week is going well!

with love,
cody

OH YEAH--please keep my mom in your prayers. She had emergency surgery yesterday in Nashville--she's ok and home now, but i KNOW she is feeling really down and attacked in her body--this stuff has been going on for probably close to 2 years now, and I know she gets really discouraged and beat up by it. My dad has a hard time dealing with all of the surgeries and ups and downs her body has been through in the past 14 years and especially with the last two, so she has a hard time talking to him about how she feels and that kinda stuff. Tomorrow is the 14 yr anniversary of the very serious car wreck that she, my brother, and I had on the way to church--Grace actually and we were meeting at the YMCA. Satan tried to take us all out that day, but God was not through with us. So we're dealing with all this new surgery stuff in the midst of remembering what a medical miracle God did 14 yrs ago when He brought my mom from death back into life. So i guess pray for our whole family--none of us are very good at all with dealing with mom and hospitals and surgery and her in pain.
